🎬 CINEMA & LIFE — A WORKSHOP ON FILMS, VALUES & LIFE LESSONS
Movies Inspire Us to Be Better People...
Movies inspire us to be better people. They can inspire us to improve our lives, forgive someone, reconcile with a loved one, or volunteer. Movies often teach us what is beneficial and what is not, and certain events or words spoken by the main characters can motivate us to change our lives.
According to many academics, cinema, or film, is a significant cultural practice. Movies are not just a form of entertainment. They often teach us valuable lessons and help us deal with difficult situations.
I am sure that some of the famous movies I mention below are films that the present generation may not have seen. As a lecturer in Asian cinema at several Sri Lankan universities, I would like to offer workshops based on the following themes, especially for Advanced-Level students and school prefects.
To encourage meaningful and interactive sessions, I prefer to limit each group to a maximum of 25 students. These workshops are particularly suitable for young adults and youth.
If you are interested, please let me know the dates you would like me to consider.
